Summary

The Trizetto QICLINK system takes incorrect login attempts very seriously. This is a good thing when protected health information (PHI) is contained within the QICLINK system. As such, operator codes (aka QICLINK user IDs) lock after three incorrect login attempts.

To reset an operator code in QICLINK an individual must have access to the ``sr'' application. Access to ``sr'' is closely guarded because it allows to other areas of user access beyond the password reset function. The goal of this project then, was to provide a way to give select users the ability to reset operator codes without giving them access to ``sr''.
